Jose Mourinho has told Inter fans “we will work together again one day, but not next season.”
The Special One has been repeatedly linked with a return to the club where he won the Treble last term.
“Please, don't talk any more about Mourinho to Inter next season,” he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Inter and I will work together again one day, but not next season. The club has an incredible President and around him a staff of top people.
“Let them and Leonardo work in a relaxed atmosphere to prepare next season with the balance, ambition and passion that made Inter the champions of everything.
“I want to celebrate the Coppa Italia with the Inter spirit that will not leave me, nor or ever.”
Mourinho's Real Madrid beat Barcelona 1-0 in extra time for the Copa del Rey this week and the Gazzetta asked if this meant the end of the Blaugrana's domination.
“I'm sorry, what domination? Barcelona are a fine squad, but right now they are only the champions of Spain. The champions of Europe and the World are another team...”
