Paolo Di Canio would consider taking the reins at Scottish club Celtic, it has been revealed this afternoon.
The former Lazio striker has been out of management work since September following his sacking by Premier League side Sunderland.
But with Neil Lennon leaving the SPL champions this week, the Italian tactician’s agent has confirmed that he would be interested in taking charge at Celtic Park.
“Paolo would be keen to speak to Celtic,” Phil Spencer is quoted as saying by several British newspapers today.
“He played for the club and he certainly has a good relationship with the fans. There has been no contact between Paolo and the club. But if there was, it’s something he would consider.”
