Claudio Lotito has made clear that ‘Antonio Candreva does not move from Lazio’, as he denies links with Napoli.
The attacking midfielder was one consistent positive for the Aquile last term and has attracted reported interest from a number of parties, just as Lazio look to tie up the remaining 50 per cent of his ownership from Udinese.
Links of late have suggested prospective bids from Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli, with the latter coming amid speculation Lotito had discussed a possible deal with Aurelio De Laurentiis.
However, today he has made clear that this is not the case.
“Honestly, I don’t know anything. Indeed, it is an hypothesis that I want to categorically deny,” Lotito has told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli today.
“I did not speak with Napoli’s club President Aurelio De Laurentiis on this and when we have spoken, or when we have met at the Lega offices, we have never discussed the possibility of our player wearing the shirt of Napoli next season.
“Candreva does not move from Lazio.”
