Edinson Cavani will sit down and discuss his future with Napoli at the end of the season, according to his agent Claudio Anellucci.
There is mounting speculation that the Uruguay international feels entitled to a pay rise after scoring 26 League goals in his first season at the San Paolo.
Cavani is technically on loan from Palermo until the summer when Napoli will exercise their option to sign the 24-year-old on a permanent basis.
Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss, Anellucci said: "Many things have been uselessly written about Cavani's future, sensational things by people who aren't doing their job well.
"However, it's useless to go into this debate. It's right that Napoli think about winning their last four games and finishing on a high note. This is the best thing. The season isn't over.
"Then at the end of the campaign we'll sit down for a chat.
"The credit for Cavani's fantastic season should be shared by everyone: from his teammates to the Coach, from the fitness Coach to the masseurs.
"A footballer doesn't score 26 goals by chance."
