Italy have announced international friendlies against Giovanni Trapattoni's Republic of Ireland and Alberto Zaccheroni's Japan.
“After the Euro 2012 qualifier with Estonia on June 3, we are planning a friendly against Trapattoni's Ireland,” confirmed Federation President Giancarlo Abete.
“We still have to decide on the venue.”
It is not yet clear if this friendly will be played on Italian soil, Irish or in a neutral city.
Abete also revealed by the end of 2011 there will be another international against Japan.
Both Ireland and Japan have a special place for the Azzurri, as they have Italian managers.
