Riccardo Montolivo and Fiorentina have still not set a date to discuss his future at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Some reports this morning suggested that crunch talks could take place next weekend in Milan, but that doesn't seem to fit with reality.
Contacted by website Firenzeviola.it, the player's agent Giovanni Branchini insisted that there has still been no contact with Viola officials.
"Nothing has changed over the last week and there is nothing new to report," commented the representative.
"We're waiting for Fiorentina to make themselves heard, but I repeat there is no news and no meetings scheduled."
Montolivo's current deal in Florence expires in 2012 and he's eager to learn about the club's plans for the future before committing himself to the Viola.
If no extension can be agreed in the coming weeks then Fiorentina are likely to sell rather than run the risk of losing him on a Bosman next year.
Juventus and Inter have been paired with the Atalanta youth product.
