Keisuke Honda has admitted that this is an important year in his Milan career, but believes he can improve for the Rossoneri.
The Japan international signed for the San Siro outfit last January, but failed to adapt to Serie A, putting in a series of underwhelming performances.
But the playmaker has claimed that he will improve this time around, but concedes that he has to.
“I only joined the group yesterday after my holiday,” he told 1495sports.
“I need to continue to train in order to get into better shape ahead of the new season.
“I think we need to improve as a team because we can’t keep on playing like we did last year.
“Our objectives? We’ll see. The group seems to be in good spirits, but we just have to try and do our best.
“This next year is going to be an important one for Milan and for me personally.”
