After Walter Mazzarri's announcement he could leave Napoli, some are saying “he already met with Juventus President Andrea Agnelli.”
The Coach has been repeatedly linked with the Bianconeri over the past few months, but matters seem to have come to a head.
In today's Press conference Mazzarri confirmed: “You'll know at the end of the campaign what I have to say to Napoli, but as a professional I always give fair warning. I have alerted the club to the fact I might not stay next season.”
This has not surprised some in Naples, such as former Napoli Coach Gianni Di Marzio.
“As far as I know, Mazzarri has already met President Agnelli for his transfer to Juventus,” Di Marzio told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“Evidently the Coach realised he could not repeat a season like this. Besides, his move to Turin isn't a certainty yet, as a lot depends on how Gigi Del Neri sees out the campaign.”
