Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola is “honoured by Inter's interest in me, but I still have a year on my contract.”
The tactician had been top of the wish-list after Jose Mourinho renewed his commitment to Real Madrid.
“I am honoured by Inter's interest in me and they are a great club,” said the Spaniard in today's Press conference.
“I still have a year on my contract with Barcelona. In any case, before anything else I have to talk to the team and the directors.”
Guardiola speaks Italian thanks to his time as a player in Serie A for Roma and Brescia from 2001 to 2003.
He is still only 40 years old, but has already won the Champions League, Club World Cup, European Super Cup, two Liga titles, the Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup.
Barcelona are on the verge of securing the Liga again this season and will face Manchester United in the Champions League Final.
