Andrea Pirlo struck a melancholy note in the Scudetto celebrations. “We'll see if I'm at Milan next season.”
The midfielder has barely featured this term due to injuries, but his contract expires in June and it does not look as if a renewal will be offered.
“The whole season has been unlucky for me, but this title party makes up for that,” said the World Cup winner.
“Massimiliano Allegri did a great job of finding the right mix to win a difficult tournament.
“We always saw Inter as our main rivals for the Scudetto, as they are the team to beat.”
When asked whether this would be his final celebration with the Rossoneri, Pirlo could not give a clear answer.
“I don't know what will happen. I tell the fans that they have been wonderful throughout.
“We'll see if I'm at Milan next season.”
