Matteo Brighi will be out for at least two months after the Roma midfielder fractured his shin.
The Italian limped off following a collision with Gennaro Gattuso during the first half of last night's 0-0 draw with Milan.
Today the X-Rays came back to show a fractured right shin and it's the end of the season for him.
Brighi will be out of action for at least two months.
It adds to the midfield problems at Roma, who have Daniele De Rossi and Simone Perrotta suspended for next week's game.
The Giallorossi also face Inter in the Coppa Italia semi-final on Wednesday evening.
