Both Milan and Santos have dismissed increasing speculation that Paulo Henrique Ganso will be moving to the new Italian champions.
The Rossoneri were thought to be leading the chase for the attacking midfielder after holding talks with his entourage recently.
However, Milan transfer guru Ariedo Braida has suggested that Ganso will not be arriving despite their interest.
"At this moment in time it is all fantasy," the official stated. "He may arrive one day in the future, but he won't be with us next season."
The player's Brazilian club have today also insisted that Ganso will not be heading for the exit during the summer.
"I will repeat what we have said in recent months," noted sporting director Conceicao. "We have received no official offer from an Italian club for Ganso.
"And even if one is made in the future then we are not even going to take it into consideration. The boy is our leading player and he is not available for transfer."
Ganso has a release clause in his contract understood to be around €50m.
