Udinese striker Antonio Di Natale has dedicated his 28 Serie A goals so far this season to his critics.
The Italian international ended the last campaign as the Capocannoniere with 29 strikes and he leads the charts again with two games left.
"My 28 goals are for all those people who said that I would find it tough to net just 10 this season," the former Empoli man noted.
Di Natale, who has netted five penalties this term, is two goals ahead of Napoli's Edinson Cavani and eight clear of Inter ace Samuel Eto'o.
The veteran rejected a summer move to Juventus and has struck up a wonderful understanding with strike partner Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean sensation, who is wanted by a host of Europe's top clubs, has found the net on 12 occasions in Serie A this term.
