The agent of Simon Kjaer says that neither Roma nor any other Italian clubs are interested in the Wolfsburg player.
The Giallorossi have been linked with the defender as they will lose Philippe Mexes to Milan at the end of the season.
However, speaking with romanews.eu, Mikkel Beck has expressed his surprise at the transfer stories.
"I have never had any kind of contact with Roma and I know nothing of this interest," he stated. "I don't know where these rumours emerge from.
"As far as I am aware, Simon has not been requested by Roma or any other Italian clubs."
Kjaer joined Wolfsburg last summer after leaving Italian Serie A club Palermo. He put pen to paper on a deal until June 2014.
"At the moment a return to Italy is not on the cards," continued Beck. "He has a long contract with Wolfsburg and he intends to respect it.
"Anyway, if a club does want him then they would need to go and talk to the Wolfsburg officials and not me."
