Milan director general Ariedo Braida believes it will be difficult for Clarence Seedorf to leave the club.
The Dutchman is out of contract next month and he's currently pondering his options for the future.
He held talks with Vice-President Adriano Galliani this week where a one-year deal was offered to him.
Seedorf refused to sign though, instead he asked for a little time and requested talks with boss Massimiliano Allegri.
"Seedorf is a champion who is very attached to Milan," Braida noted. "All of us here love him and he loves Milan. That is important."
Seedorf will meet with Galliani again at some point next week where he will deliver his final decision.
A number of Brazilian clubs are interested in his services should he be available on a Bosman transfer.
