Milan director Ariedo Braida claims reports of a move for Cesc Fabregas “is just fantasy football for the moment.”
The Rossoneri have confirmed they want a reinforcement for the left side of midfield and the Arsenal star would be the prime candidate.
“Fabregas to Milan? That is just fantasy football for the moment,” said director of sport Braida, who did not entirely rule out the possibility in future.
A more likely option is Udinese's Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah, who will face Milan on Sunday.
“He proved that he is an excellent player in Udine. For the moment let us say that is all,” continued Braida.
“I would be happy if Udinese got to the Champions League preliminary round, but Milan are in their way and we intend to win every game.
“The Friulani have had an extraordinary season and this would be the crowning moment. It's well deserved, as Francesco Guidolin is one of the best Coaches around.”
