One of the new Roma owners, James Pallotta, is in town. “We have the money for the transfer market and will make the fans happy.”
The Giallorossi play their final game of the season on Sunday evening against Sampdoria and a point is enough to secure Europa League football.
“I will be in the stadium tomorrow,” said American investor Pallotta, a colleague of future President Thomas Di Benedetto.
“It's not a problem that we haven't qualified for the Champions League, as we have the money for the transfer market.
“You'll have to ask Di Benedetto at the end of the season, but I can assure you we will make the fans happy.”
It is also reported that Pallotta will fly to London next week for negotiations with England general manager Franco Baldini, who has been earmarked for the position of Roma director general.
