Italian giants Inter are pondering a summer move for Palermo revelation Josip Ilicic.
The 22-year-old has had an impressive first season in Serie A following his move from Maribor last August.
The Nerazzurri are looking to freshen up their midfield options and the Slovenian international is near the top of their wish list.
Stories in Italy on Tuesday claim that Inter transfer guru Marco Branca made an initial enquiry about the player on the eve of the Italian Cup Final between the two sides.
Palermo apparently responded with a valuation of the player which is believed to be in the region of €15m.
Ilicic only cost Palermo €2.2m a year ago and his salary is set at only €300,000 a season at the Stadio Barbera.
