Udinese have rejected claims that they met with Juventus yesterday, but they have confirmed the Bianconeri's interest in Gokhan Inler.
"There was no meeting with Juventus for Alexis Sanchez or Inler," Udinese sporting director Fabrizio Larini told Radio Mana Mana.
"Nevertheless, a lot of clubs are interested in Inler and that includes Juventus."
The midfielder was expected to join Napoli at the end of the season, but that move seems to have now collapsed.
"Udinese and Napoli had reached a deal, but the player couldn't agree on personal terms with the Azzurri," added Larini.
Reports suggest that Juve are ready to offer players and cash for the Swiss international, something that may tempt the Friuli outfit.
"It's possible that some players could be included, but nothing has been concluded yet," the official continued.
"As for Sanchez, he has nothing to do with the Inler affair. We shouldn't confuse matters here. The Chilean is liked by all the important clubs and that is only normal."
Larini also dismissed suggestions that his club were preparing to sell Kwadwo Asamoah. "He's staying here."
