Reports in Germany suggest Miroslav Klose will sign a two-year contract with Lazio in the next few days.
The striker is out of contract with Bayern Munich and has confirmed his negotiations with the Stadio Olimpico outfit.
It's rumoured that the German international will put pen to paper on a two-year deal worth €1.8m per season plus performance-related bonuses.
Klose celebrates his 33rd birthday on Thursday and said he was “excited” about a new adventure in Serie A.
He is the second most prolific striker in Germany's history with 61 goals in 109 international caps, just eight behind the legendary Gerd Muller.
