Udinese President Franco Soldati reveals “Barcelona are the favourites for Alexis Sanchez, while Juventus are closer to Gokhan Inler.”
The Friulani have reached the Champions League preliminary round, but still look set to sell many of their young stars.
“Today is an important day with several meetings planned, not just the one with Juve,” President Soldari told Radio Sportiva.
“We will not define the negotiations today, as there are many clubs interested in our players. What I read in the newspapers is true, as everything revolves around the economic aspect and the players offered in part-exchange.”
The biggest prize in Udinese's team is Chilean youngster Sanchez, who has attracted interest from the likes of Inter, Juventus, Barcelona, Manchester United and Manchester City.
“There are also some English sides looking at Sanchez, as Manchester City and United have been tracking him all year. So have Barcelona and at this moment they are the favourites ahead of Juventus.”
Inler had been on the verge of joining Napoli, but the midfielder seems to prefer a switch to Turin.
“Juve are closer to Inler, but on the transfer market anything can happen. Kwadwo Asamoah will stay with Udinese.”
