Udinese patron Gianpaolo Pozzo is threatening to keep Alexis Sanchez unless a top club digs very deep into their pockets.
Sanchez is valued at over €35m by the Bianconeri and he's wanted by the likes of Inter, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City and Real Madrid.
However, Pozzo has today told the Udinese website that his club have yet to receive an adequate offer for the Chilean.
"Despite the fact that everybody wants him, I'm optimistic that Sanchez can still be playing for Udinese next season, especially when one considers how the negotiations for him are developing," he told udinese.it.
"If an offer, that we can't refuse, doesn't arrive it means that the great clubs are not convinced of the South American attacker's capability and that they are not ready to value him as he deserves.
"Therefore it would be better for Sanchez to stay here in Friuli for another season, so that he can definitely consecrate his abilities and end his maturation process which began three years ago.
"It would be good for him and good for us."
