Domenico Criscito confirms he “would be willing to change position” for a move to hometown club Napoli.
The Genoa and Italy defender is reportedly the subject of a €6m offer from the Partenopei, who will be in the Champions League next season.
“I certainly like Napoli, as it's a place that breathes football. Next term they'll be in the Champions League and I hope they can do even better than this season,” he told Radio CRC.
“If I did come to Napoli, then I would be willing to change position, as if Walter Mazzarri wanted me to, I could adapt to a centre-back role. I haven't played there in four years, but it shouldn't be a problem.”
There is also interest from Inter for former Juventus starlet Criscito.
“Inter are an important side who fight for the Scudetto every year, but Napoli are also extremely important.”
It is reported that the Partenopei have offered €6m for a co-ownership deal with Genoa.
