Gianluigi Buffon “has offers from all over the world, but never thought about leaving Juventus,” said his agent.
The goalkeeper has been continually linked with a move away from Turin over the past few years, especially after a long injury lay-off following back surgery.
“Since 2006 Gigi has had offers from all over the world and two of the biggest Italian clubs,” Silvano Martina told Radio Sportiva.
“He had an injury and did not play for a long time, which created rumours without foundation.
“He was coming off a seven-month stop, so needed time to slowly recover, but he never thought about leaving Juventus, nor did the Bianconeri ever think about selling him.”
Juventus have been linked with Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic, but that seems very unlikely.
“I did speak to Vidic about a possible transfer, but he gave me this reply: ‘I am captain of Manchester United, I earn well and have won practically everything. Why would I want to leave now?'”
