French media sources insist Leonardo could be unveiled at PSG tonight after terminating his contract with Inter.
The Nerazzurri Coach is returning to his past as a director general at Paris Saint-Germain, the club he played for in the 1990s.
According to L'Equipe, Leo is flying in from Rio de Janeiro this evening to work out the final details in ending his contract wi9th Inter.
The tactician joined on Christmas Eve and his deal runs until June 30 2012.
Inter President Massimo Moratti confirmed the situation was progressing very quickly.
“The career of a Coach is something he went into with passion, but it was not really his plan for the future.
“It's therefore only right that he should follow his dream and what really makes him happy. It is a job that is more suited to his personality.
“Leonardo was entirely fair and told us about the situation. It seemed right for me to push him towards this option.”
Moratti also confessed that Marcelo Bielsa had been contacted as a possible replacement.
