Marco Parolo concedes that he has a lot to live up to after his first season in Serie A led to an Italy cap.
"Now I have to confirm myself at these high levels," the Cesena midfielder told Radio Sportiva on Thursday.
"Where will I be doing that? I don't know. Cesena and Chievo have to sort out my co-ownership agreement and then we'll see.
"I think that I'll start pre-season with either Chievo or Cesena before another phase of the transfer market opens."
Parolo is a Milan fan, but he admits that he doesn't expect to be playing at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza next term.
"Joining either of the two Milan clubs is an objective for all players, but I think such a solution would be hard.
"Fiorentina? I've read about their interest in the newspapers, but there is nothing concrete."
