Attilio Lombardo, talent scout for Manchester City, maintains they can “secure a deal for Alexis Sanchez pretty quickly.”
City are among several clubs making offers for the Udinese starlet this summer, who is worth at least €35m.
“We hope to secure a deal for Sanchez pretty quickly,” Lombardo is quoted as telling La Tercera newspaper in Spain.
Italian media in the form of Radio Mercato also maintain Manchester City are in pole position for the Chilean talent.
It's reported Roberto Mancini's club have offered €35m plus midfielder Vladimir Weiss to bring Sanchez to Eastlands.
Other candidates are Manchester United, Barcelona, Juventus and Inter.
