Ezequiel Lavezzi helped Napoli into the Champions League, but admits “I ought to score more goals.”
The striker is in Argentina preparing for the Copa America and looked back over the campaign.
“I have done well at Napoli and am satisfied with my season, but I know I ought to be more incisive in front of the net.
“I realise I ought to score more goals, as it would've been a lot better,” he told Tyc Sports.
El Pocho only managed six goals in 31 Serie A games this season.
“I want to be a regular protagonist with the Seleccion shirt and am really fired up. We're playing on home turf and have a great chance of winning the Copa America.
“I realise it all depends on me now to deliver and prove I deserve my place in the side. I'm ready.”
