Novara earned promotion to Serie A after 55 years and Coach Attilio Tesser is confident “we'll stick with the squad that got us here.”
The Piedmont minnows won the Play-Off Final to complete their ascent into the top flight, having spent most of the last 55 years in lower divisions even than Serie C.
“Ours is a lovely fairytale,” said Tesser. “Now that the celebrations are over, we are starting to focus on next season.
“Everyone in the side is confirmed, as we'll stick with the squad that got us here, 100 per cent.”
Director of sport Mauro Pederzoli also told Sportitalia about Novara's plans for 2011-12.
“Our objective is to confirm ourselves in Serie A. There will be time to talk about everyone's future, but we aim to confirm the group that took us into the top flight.
“We will also bring in reinforcements and I will admit that Milan youth team player Rodney Strasser is one of those Novara are interested in.”
