Inter legend Gianluca Pagliuca believes that Sinisa Mihajlovic is the right man to replace Leonardo at San Siro.
Confusion reigns over who will take over as Nerazzurri Coach with Leonardo set to become a director at Paris SG.
Among the contenders to net the job are Gian Piero Gasperini and Delio Rossi, but Pagliuca respects the ability of Fiorentina boss Mihajlovic.
"I'm not understanding a great deal of what is going on, I'm reading a lot of contradictory reports," the former goalkeeper told Radio Sportiva. "There is a lot of confusion.
"It is a great responsibility to boss Inter as you are not permitted to make mistakes, but if I was a Coach and it was offered to me then I would say yes straight away.
"This is a unique opportunity and Mihajlovic would do well to instantly accept if he was offered the job.
"Gasperini and Rossi are good Coaches, who are also available, but Mihajlovic knows the environment well. I think he'll be the next boss."
Mihajlovic, who still has a year to go on his Viola contract, has spent time at Inter as a player and a former assistant boss to Roberto Mancini.
