Antonio Cassano's proposed move to Napoli in exchange for Marek Hamsik is “fantasy football” according to his agent.
The January signing from Sampdoria has been heavily linked with both Napoli and Fiorentina this summer, as he is struggling to break into the starting XI at Milan.
“Cassano will remain at Milan while he is useful to the club. There is no debate on this,” Beppe Bozzo told Sky Sport Italia.
“Will he go to Napoli? At this moment that is absolute fantasy football. There is absolutely no chance.”
FantAntonio is eager to seek playing time elsewhere so he can have more first team football in the lead-up to Euro 2012.
Last week Cesare Prandelli warned only those who play regularly at club level will be considered for the Nazionale.
Bozzo also commented on some of his other clients, namely Juventus spare parts Fabio Grosso and Marco Motta.
“There is interest from fun places like Dubai for Grosso, but we are still waiting for something concrete.
“I would be happy if Motta stayed at Juve to really show what he can do after an unlucky campaign full of injuries. The Bianconeri directors do not want to sell him.”
