Reports from Spain suggest Barcelona's bid for Alexis Sanchez has hit problems, letting Manchester City back in the race for the Udinese star.
Barça had been expected to complete the signing of Chile international Sanchez this week for €39m, including performance-related bonuses, plus Jeffren.
However, radio station Ona FM claim negotiations hit a big stumbling block late this afternoon.
It seems that forward Jeffren has refused the move to Udinese in part-exchange for El Nino Maravilla.
Unless the two clubs can decide on another player to be included in the deal, this could let Manchester City back into the race for Sanchez.
Sky Sport Italia suggest Udinese want the Chilean to accept City's offer of €40m plus €5m in bonuses.
