Juventus chief Beppe Marotta insists they'll “sign a top striker,” like Giuseppe Rossi or Sergio Aguero, but denied interest in Park Ji-Sung.
It was reported on Friday that the Bianconeri were making a bid for the Manchester United winger, whose contract expires next summer.
“No, we are not interested in Park,” Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.
“We will sign a quality player in attack, a top striker. We already have a world class addition to our midfield with Andrea Pirlo.
“He brings great quality as well as being an exemplary professional.”
Among the forwards linked to Juventus this summer are Atletico Madrid's ‘Kun'Aguero and Rossi of Villarreal.
“Both are talented and capable of making the difference,” continued Marotta.
“They do match up with the profile of the kind of player we are looking for.”
The Juventus general manager also denied reports Amauri was heading back to Palermo.
