Barcelona and Spain starlet Bojan Krkic points out he has “not yet signed for Roma” after winning the European Under-21 Championship.
The 20-year-old has been in advanced negotiations to follow Coach Luis Enrique to the Stadio Olimpico and the Giallorossi maintain the deal is done.
“I cannot say that I am a Roma player, because I have not yet signed for Roma,” explained Bojan.
It's believed there is a deal in place to bring him to Rome for €10m, although Barcelona will have the option to buy him back for €12m.
“I have just won the European Under-21 Championship, am very happy and want to celebrate with my teammates before flying back to Barcelona.”
Despite his fame and status as a senior Spain international, the striker had relatively little playing time in the tournament in Denmark.
“It wasn't great, but I was ready when the Coach needed me. I would've liked to be more of a protagonist, but the important thing is that Spain won and we are champions.”
Spain beat Switzerland 2-0 in last night's Final.
