Chievo have officially sold Cesare Rickler to Bologna in a co-ownership deal and terminated Michele Marcolini's contract.
The Flying Donkeys are whittling down their squad over the summer and made two formal moves this evening.
Defender Rickler has gone to Bologna in a co-ownership deal, having been on loan at Piacenza this season.
Chievo have terminated the contract of midfielder Marcolini by mutual consent, so he is now a free agent.
“We all thank Michele for what he has done for the club in these five years,” wrote President Luca Campedelli.
“We lived through difficult times and celebrated fantastic results. Michele has been an important player for us and we wish him the best for his football career.”
It's reported Marcolini could remain in Verona, crossing the city for bitter rivals Hellas.
