Napoli and Inter emissaries are flying to Argentina for a battle over River Plate's Erik Lamela.
The creative midfielder had already been a big target for Roma, but it seems to now be a two-horse race.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Napoli are stepping up their efforts to sign Lamela by sending scout Maurizio Micheli to the Copa America game between Argentina and Bolivia.
River Plate find themselves in dire financial straits and need to sell their top stars after a shock relegation, the first in their 110-year history.
It also lowers the price-tag for Lamela, which has alerted Napoli and Inter to a potential bargain.
