Italy's Euro 2012 qualifier against Slovenia will be held at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence.
The Federation released a statement confirming the venue for the crunch match on September 6.
It will be exactly a year since the Azzurri last played in Florence, having thumped the Faroe Islands 5-0 here on September 7, 2010.
Italy lead their Euro 2012 group with 16 points from six games, followed by Slovenia on 11 from seven matches and Serbia's eight from six encounters.
Cesare Prandelli's men won 1-0 in Slovenia on March 25 thanks to a goal from Thiago Motta.
