Fernando Muslera has said goodbye to Lazio ahead of his expected move to Turkish side Galatasaray.
"As far as I am aware everything has now been resolved," the Uruguayan stated after his proposed switch was halted by a number of problems.
"Even if I have yet to sign anything, I would like to just thank Lazio and their fans," continued the goalkeeper.
"It's sad to leave Rome after these beautiful four years together."
The South American is being sold by the capital club after no agreement could be reached over a contract extension. His deal expires next summer.
Lazio have already signed his replacement given that they have completed the capture of €5.2m 'keeper Federico Marchetti from Cagliari.
It's understood that Lazio have sold Muslera to Galatasaray for a fee of around €8m.
However, they will hand over less than that amount given that Lorik Cana is set to move in the opposite direction.
