Alexander Doni's expected transfer from Roma to Liverpool could be wrapped up by midnight on Thursday.
"We should close the deal by the end of the day," agent Ovidio Colucci exclusively told Impero Romanista.
"Of course anything could happen before the signatures are added to the contracts, but I can confirm that there is only Liverpool for Doni."
The goalkeeper initially rejected a switch to Anfield, but they have improved their personal terms offer to the player.
Doni, who is presently on €4m a season wages before tax, is no longer required at the Stadio Olimpico as the Giallorossi are searching for a new No 1.
"It's true that Atletico Madrid also expressed an interest in Doni, even if they didn't make contact directly," the agent added.
"The only concrete offer has come from Liverpool and we hope to wrap everything up by this evening."
