Jonathan Zebina and Emilson Sanchez Cribari have left Serie A, while Sampdoria sign Serie B top scorer Federico Piovaccari.
Brescia announced this evening that they have terminated Zebina's contract by mutual consent.
He had one more year left to run on his deal, but is now a free agent. The French defender spent much of his career in Italy with Cagliari, Roma, Juventus and Brescia.
Former Lazio defender Cribari was also a free agent after Napoli opted not to renew his contract.
The Brazilian has gone back to his home country and officially signed for Cruzeiro.
Sampdoria are hoping to bounce back from their relegation and have snapped up last season's Serie B top scorer.
Piovaccari has been signed on a permanent basis from Cittadella, where he netted 23 goals in 2010-11.
