Roma have become the latest Italian side to show an interest in Standard Liege rising star Axel Witsel.
Milan and Lazio had shown an interest in the midfielder earlier this summer, but negotiations didn't develop.
Now reports in the peninsula on Tuesday are suggesting that the midfielder has caught the attention of Giallorossi sporting director Walter Sabatini.
The latter is working hard in foreign markets as he looks to build a competitive side for new boss Luis Enrique.
Witsel is a Belgian international who is still maturing and developing at the age of 22. His current contract expires in 2015.
Portuguese giants Benfica are also interested in the player who Standard value at around €10m.
