Philippe Mexes is overjoyed at making the move to Milan. “It's an honour to wear this shirt and I hope to recover as soon as possible.”
The defender's contract with Roma expired after seven years, so he opted for a new Serie A experience at San Siro.
However, it's unclear when he'll be able to make his debut, as the 29-year-old is still recovering from knee surgery.
“I am in pretty good shape and hope to be on the field as soon as possible,” he said in a Press conference.
“I'm happy at Milan and it's an honour to wear this shirt. I hope to prove what I can do and thank my teammates for the warm welcome.
“Unfortunately I will need a little time, but I'll work very hard to recover as quickly as possible.
“I hope to be up to the standard of my teammates who won the Scudetto last season.”
