Sebastian Giovinco has no regrets about starting the new season at Parma rather than with Italian giants Juventus.
The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at the Tardini and the club have now signed a half-share in the Turin youth product.
"I'm happy with how things have gone," the attacking midfielder told Calcio 2000 magazine in an interview.
"Parma have allowed me to break into the international set up.
"Juventus? They were the ones who sent me away. If I was to ever return then they would have to be the ones to convince me."
Giovinco had a decent first campaign with the Gialloblu and his ability was rewarded by Italy boss Cesare Prandelli.
"The Azzurri Coach knows what he is doing and he has a good dose of courage," the player continued.
"He isn't afraid of developing new ideas and launching youngsters in the team. He believes in what he is doing and isn't influenced by others."
