Samuel Eto'o is confident Inter can win it all over again. “We bring home trophies because we are so united.”
The Cameroon international still got to lift the Italian Super Cup, Club World Cup and Coppa Italia despite a difficult campaign, but begins again under Gian Piero Gasperini.
“Our first objective is the Italian Super Cup in Beijing on August 6 against Milan,” said the striker.
“In recent seasons we've shown that we bring home trophies because we are so united. Therefore we have to stick together this term and things will go well.”
There had been reports of Eto'o leaving San Siro for Manchester City this summer, but a meeting with President Massimo Moratti silenced those fears.
“From the moment I pulled on the Inter jersey for the first time, I knew it was the start of a great love story. I hope that in these years I have won my place in the hearts of the fans.”
