Lazio sank Albinoleffe 3-0 under a thunderstorm to set up a Coppa Italia derby with rivals Roma.
The Biancocelesti made short work of the Serie B outfit at the Stadio Olimpico in tonight's Fourth Round meeting.
Play was extremely difficult due to a heavy rainstorm in the city and the few people in the stands huddled together for warmth.
It was an opportunity for Edy Reja to rotate the squad and Javier Garrido took full advantage of the rare playing time, as he scored his first goal for the club.
The former Manchester City man curled a wonderful free kick into the near top corner.
Before half-time it was 2-0 thanks to Guglielmo Stendardo sliding in to meet Pasquale Foggia's cross at the back post.
The scoreline was rounded out with five minutes left as Simone Del Nero beat the goalkeeper in a one-on-one.
There were other chances too, as Libor Kozak rattled the crossbar and Tommaso Rocchi hit the upright.
Lazio will face arch rivals Roma in the next round of the Coppa Italia.
