Jose Ernesto Sosa is leaving Napoli after securing a deal with Ukrainians Metalist Kharkiv.
The midfielder had little room in the squad last season and was no longer required after the arrival of Gokhan Inler this summer.
“Sosa's destination depends on Napoli,” agent Favio Bilardo told Goal.com.
“The club received an offer from Metalist and from Estudiantes for a permanent transfer. He wants to play and there's no space for him at Napoli.”
Late Friday night, Estudiantes confirmed they had failed in their attempts to sign the 26-year-old Argentine.
Sosa will join Metalist, who already have a large selection of Argentine players.
