Sampdoria boss Gianluca Atzori is confident that Angelo Palombo will be at his disposal in Serie B, but he has doubts over Andrea Poli.
The two central midfielders are the club's most prized assets after their relegation from the top-flight last term.
While Atzori believes that captain Palombo will remain, he's not so certain when it comes to the Under-21 international.
"Palombo has told me that he wants to stay in order to help the club back into Serie A after a tough year," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"As for Poli, I'd like him to stay, but I know that he is interesting a lot of clubs and that he could leave."
Cagliari and Juventus have been linked with the 21-year-old in recent weeks.
