Milan transfer official Ariedo Braida has played down reports that the club’s mystery Mr X signing will be Kaka.
“We all love Kaka,” Braida noted. “However, I think it is improbable that he could return to this club.”
The Brazilian spent six years at San Siro before his big money move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2009.
“You’ve spent all summer talking about Mr X,” the Milan director continued. “However, I think Milan are already very competitive, also in terms of the Champions League.
“In the past there has often been suspense about our signings right up until the transfer window closes.
“We’re hopeful that we can do the same again.”
Milan were heavily criticised for their signings last summer before grabbing Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the last week of the window.
