As expected, Napoli have officially sold midfielder Jose Ernesto Sosa to Metalist Kharkiv.

The Argentine was no longer required after the arrival of Gokhan Inler from Udinese and failed to win over Coach Walter Mazzarri.

Napoli published a statement on the official club website confirming Sosa has been sold to Ukrainian side Metalist Kharkiv.

The 26-year-old arrived from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2010 and signed a four-year contract.
