The Milan derby will be the penultimate round in the 2011-12 campaign and a potential Scudetto decider on May 6.
The full fixtures for the Serie A season have now been drawn up and there is some intriguing timing with regards to certain games.
Milan and Inter battled for the Scudetto last term and the Derby della Madonnina could well be decisive, as it will be played in the penultimate round on May 6.
The first meeting is in Week 18, so the weekend of January 15.
The Rome derby is a much earlier affair, arriving in Week 7, so on October 16 and March 4.
Both Milanese sides have a tough start to the season, as Milan-Lazio and Palermo-Inter are both in Week 2.
In Week 3 there is Inter-Roma and Napoli-Milan, followed by Inter-Napoli in Week 6.
Along with the Rome derby in Week 7, there is a tasty Milan-Palermo clash.
Juventus-Fiorentina and Napoli-Udinese are both in Week 9.
A very big round is going to be Week 10, as Inter-Juventus and Roma-Milan are on the calendar.
Napoli-Juventus rolls around in Week 11, followed by Juventus-Palermo and Napoli-Lazio a week later.
Lazio-Juventus and Udinese-Roma are in Week 13, then Inter-Udinese in Week 14 and the big Roma-Juventus battle in Week 15.
Palermo-Napoli promises fireworks in Week 16, but the biggest clashes are Milan-Inter in Week 18 and Inter-Lazio in Week 19.
This also means that Inter's final two matches of the season will be the Milan derby and a trip to Lazio's Stadio Olimpico.
